"Qualifications and Skills Needed:
Extensive knowledge of RPG Game systems (primarily D&D)"
...
I assume that you're wanting to make sure someone has all the D&D systems under his belt so that he/she can convert all the things TO Gurps?
:)
I like your enthusiasm.
Welcome Joshua!
Welcome and Congrats on the job.
Welcome Joshua! Looking forward to seeing some fantastic art!! :)
Location: Remote, but must be in the United States for tax and accounting reasons. You will need to be able to work from home.
That part really sucks :(
Welcome Joshua :)
Just lie and say you live at my house. :)
Well, considering with a USA address you can get a USA Bank Account, which in turn allows you to get a Bank Account prctically anywhere in the world, I don't mind paying a "small" 10% fee to use Nylanf's address as my USA Postal Address (and "residential address" as well). <WEG>
I just tried to send an email about the Module Conversion Specialist position, but the email bounced as spam. So I tried to contact support through [email protected] and had the same problem. I'm really interested in learning more about this position, since I've been looking for something I can do from home, around my illness, for a long time.
They are both groups.
Try emailing dmiddleton and asking him to pass it on to Doug.

Just as a quick example as to why hiring a foreign contractor can cause issues and add expense. It actually is pretty straightforward for most countries, but there are some pretty significant hoops that need to be jumped through and Doug’s accountant may have warned him of the complexity and cost of it.
Yeah, that's the thing - SmiteWorks aren't looking for a contractor, they're looking for a permanent employee - similar, but not the same. I'm guessing there are financial, legal, accounting, etc. reasons, but also they've been burned with contractors quite recently...
Just out of curiosity, is Joshua going to be prettying up the UI as well as doing map stuff? We could always use more good themes from a professional artist.
Be patient. The job was posted 5 days ago. It has been less time than that since you last heard from them. Today is Sunday, yesterday was Saturday. If you don't expect to work 7 days a week, don't expect them to work 7 days a week. Therefore it has only been a couple of work days (at the most) since you last had contact with them. Wait at least a week before reaching back out to them, and 2 weeks before worrying about it.
Plus I was in the area and distracted Doug from his FGU work with dinner on Friday night. :)
Thank you so much for all the greetings, welcomes and well wishes! I am so very excited to be apart of such a great company and community!
You have been a part for a while unless there is another. Some of your stuff on the store has been out there a long time.
Anyway, nice to see you formally attached.
Indeed, and as you say not attached in a formal capacity. For a while now I have been working primarily on other short term projects ,but now am so glad to have found a much more permanent residence here!
