Walls made using paint strokes turn sideways for players

I created a map using an asset pack that had the wall brush horizontal not vertical. I rotated the image when using it as a stroke and it seemed to work. When the players load the map the walls are going the wrong direction though. I can fix this issue by placing a small section of wall as the DM then hitting undo, but it resets any time I reshare the map or the player opens then closes it. I have attached an image with the DM view on the left and the player view on the right. I have tested this with multiple client accounts and computers. The issue is affecting the paint layer so line of sight isn't affected.
