LFP New Pathfinder 2e Game Sundays

Hello all

I am looking to recruit more players for a homebrew Pathfinder 2e game. I currently have 3 people interested and of those 3, 1 confirmed. I would like to get a party size of 5-8 so if people have an issue making one day we can keep going without too much of an issue. This is the first time I will run a pathfinder 2e game, and am expecting it to be the first time most of the players will be playing so we are new player friendly.

FG License: GM has FG Unity Ultimate License (so you only need the demo of Unity)
Game System: Pathfinder 2E Homebrew

Time Zone: US Eastern
Day of week and time: Sunday Time: 7:00-10:00 PM Eastern, although if the session requires we might push to 11pm.
If new game, planned start date: Session 0 I would like to occur on June 7th

Roleplay & Combat mix: Up to the players. I try to plan my encounters to not just be combat based, but have many possible outcomes.
Number of Players in game & needed: 1 confirmed, 2 interested, need 3-7
Character starting level & equipment: 1st Level 150sp
Character Creation Stuff:
• Characters: We are going to use official stuff primarily, but I will look into 3rd party stuff posted on the d20 pathfinder srd.
• Alignment: We will go over this during session 0. I am not opposed to evil players, as long as there is party cohesion. Basically, everything but Chaotic Evil is allowed.
• Backstory: You can start coming up with ideas before session 0 and it is encouraged. My goal is to make this world very much player centric and will use backstories to help fuel side plots and promote character growth and development.
• Party Balance: Another thing to go over during session 0 further, but I don't want players being forced into roles they don't want to play. A successful campaign is when everyone is having fun so if you guys are lacking in a certain department the game play will be tailored to make it so that doesn't cripple the party. Basically what I am saying is come into this playing what you want. One of my most successful campaigns I ran came out of a party make up of 3 sorcerers and a fighter.

Details of your scenario:
Details of the world will be made as we get to them I have a general idea of the overall world but I want to give players the opportunity to help mold the world. The game will start off in a small farming village where the party has by the mayor to escort a small caravan of farmers and his son to the nearby city to try and figure out why they haven't seen traveling merchants in weeks when normally the village sees a merchant every couple of days. More details will be shared during session 0.

I’m interested in joining. I’m an experienced player player particularly to OG Pathfinder, but new to P2E. Still getting solid with Fantasy Grounds, but not absolutely new. DM for my discord.

I'd be interested in giving this a play. I have a few ideas that I wouldn't mind trying out, and I would like to get a feel for the player side of FG, and I'm interested in looking over the Unity version before putting money down on it.

I do find it humorous that you mention a three Sorcerer game in relation to Pathfinder 2e now that the types of spells they cast are tied to their bloodline. You can have a pseudo-Cleric (Celestial), pseudo-Wizard, and pseudo-Druid all with one class. I love it! (well, I would if I didn't find the whole Vancian spellcasting system to be overly limiting and frustrating to play with).

Actually, the three sorcerer game was a 1st edition pathfinder, it would be rather interesting now because of the change in sorcerers though :P.

Hey I'm interested in this campaign. I'm a long time GM, with 3-4 years of pathfinder 1e, 5 years of DnD 5e and haven't often played as a player. I haven't played pathfinder 2e, none of my players want to learn the new system at the moment. I tend to be the know-the-rules guy in my groups and I pick up new systems pretty fast. I'm extremely familiar with fantasy grounds and have been running my games in FGU. Hey there. I'm interested in joining your campaign. I'm new to pathfinder, but have been itching to try it out since I started playing Starfinder a little while back. I'm pretty confident in the rules at this point, though am new to fantasy grounds. I have a few character ideas in mind, but definitely am not dead-set on anything in particular -- I like waiting til the group is put together to flesh out all the little details, that way the background and everything makes sense for the narrative.
