Im new but want to learn

I learned ad&d 2nd edition back when i was a kid, read all the books but couldnt find anyone to play with in my small town.
I have read all sorts of fantasy books over the years. Im 36 years old. Im looking to get into d&d 5e. I have read the players handbook. I am reading it again. I have created a few characters on Fantasy Grounds.

Im willing to play any character class/race.

Im mountain standard time so -7 utc
I can play Friday evenings after 6pm and saturday and sunday.
