Unable to remove circle from map and deleted map image

Hi guys
2 new issues cropped up. Would please love some help resolving!
(1) On my forest map a mystery circle has appeared with a number on it that I am unable to remove. Also all the characters are highlighted green. How do i remove these?Attachment 44526

(2) I have also accidently deleted the actual forest map image from the forest map picture layer! Any way for me to restore this to the default so i can start again?Attachment 44527
