The weather on a given watch has three basic components: precipitation, wind speed, and temperature. Each of these is randomly determined each watch, based on region, season, and the previous watch. This extension for Fantasy Grounds Unity allows the DM to generate up to a 10 day weather forecast, with six 4-hour periods per day. Weather is generated using some initial conditions that the DM sets, and using any previous time periods forecast.
The forecast includes Precipitation, Wind speed, and Temperature which are all affected by the Region, Season, Time of Day and previous forecasts.
This extension is ruleset agnostic, and should work in all CoreRPG based rulesets. The weather generator can be accessed from the Party Sheet.
This is awesome!! I'm assuming that this will not work with FGC as you tagged it for FGU. It's a definite buy for me once my group moves to FGU...

I have not done any testing with it in FGC, but I dont see any reason it wont work. It doesnt really touch any of the ruleset code except for the tiny integration into the party sheet. The rest is all entirely self contained code.

I was using Bayne Bag of holding for 5e ext and I found there is a conflict with the weather generator ext. You both add a tab on the party sheet and his looks to overwrite yours? Any chance we could get this resolved? I have posted over there and he said he would try and reach out. I am hoping to have both working together. Thanks!

Things can only be moved from the DMsGuild to the Forge if DMsGuild decides to delist it. Part of the DMsGuild legal requirements are you cannot put the content up anywhere else once it has been placed on DMsGuild, as you are giving them partial ownership.

Believe me, I would love to. As Bane said, the DMsGuild publishing Terms of Service prohibit posting or selling a product that you have listed on DMsGuild anywhere else. The only products which are allowed to be moved over from DMsGuild to the Forge are those that DMsGuild admins have delisted from their site. Until they do that, I am unable to move it to the forge.

Unfortunately no. As was discussed earlier in the thread, I cant move it to the Forge, and cant publish it anywhere outside of DMsGuild.

I am sure you have heard about the next update on TEST. This ext is not displaying in the PS due to the changes the PS is going through. I thought I would just give you a heads up.

I've got the weather generator working in test now, so once the current TEST update is pushed, it should be ready to go. Also, extra bonus, with the new templates they created, I recreated the entire interface and it should look nicer, and be effortless to theme. I've tried it in all the default themes and it works great.
Just loaded test and updated it...no dice...the tab is missing? Then I thought...well I don't have the new version ;)

Unfortunately Weather Generator is still only on DMsGuild, so there is nothing in the forge test channel to try out. Just have to wait until its released.

To update the Weather module you have to go to RPGNow where you purchased it and redownload the updated version (the only one there). Then put it in your module folder and it should just work.
