Spirt Blast the from the core rule book is marked as doing 6d6 force damage instead of 16d6 force damage.
This is not actually an error. If you look at the damage breakdown, it's 4d6 damage + 2d6 per spell level. If you put it into a 6th level spell slot it will do the correct amount of damage. It's set up that way so that it heightens automatically if you put it in a higher level spell slot.

+2 Striking Shortsword has 3d6 instead of 2d6 damage.
