I downloaded the Osric ruleset. I noticed that you can't target tokens or drag and drop dice and have it roll to hit automatically.
Am I just doing something wrong or is this ruleset very thin?

RuleOfThree,
I'm getting the following area after upgrading to the 2.8v of FG2 and the newest version of your ruleset. I THINK I may have gotten it post FG2 upgrade, but prior to OSRIC upgrade - but can't be positive.
Download error for file 'common.xml@OSRIC Spells'; HTTP/1.1 404 NOT FOUND
Hello Duke.
Not sure to understand your problem.
I've tested mine (FGII 2.8, OSRIC 1.44 with the up to date modules), no problem for me.
Can you re-explain your problem ?
Is this a message that appear when you charge the ruleset ? when you open the spells modules ...
PS : devils and animals are quasi-done.
We are using OSRIC 1.43 ( that was the most recent available at the time ). We had other problems immediately after upgrading to 2.8, but we have most of them worked out.
The above message is recorded in the console.log file when I start FG2 with the -n command line option. It usually happens just after connecting to the server.
Ok. Don't know. Can you just try an update to OSRIC 1.44 or have you modified some codes ?
Where should I download the update. The link in your signature leads to here:
https://oberoten.dyndns.org/fgwiki/i...File:OSRIC.zip
Which is listed as 1.42 and last update was June 6, 2011.
Oups... :o
Go to the first page of this post. This one is the good one. But I don't really think that your problem comes from your older ruleset...
It's just a warning message for files requested by the client which were not available on the host. With the current module implementation, the clients will always request the common.xml file for every module, even though it doesn't contain one.
It's new to 2.8, since 2.8 now tries to document more info in the console.log file.

Thanks.
I will try to look this new modification for 3.5 modules.
