Late submission from me, just in case it garners interest.
I've been getting into the Symbaroum RPG setting, so decided to pull together a ruleset to play this with my regular group.
In case others are also keen, seems a shame not to try and run the session over FG Con as well, so I've pushed an an event for the introduction mission. It's Australia Friday night, so might not be the best time for all timezones, but maybe it'll work out for a few people ?!

If you are using it for an FG-Con game, the pay-what-you-want is certainly OK to be zero. If you like them, a review would be nice. I have 8 done and will try and get the halfling monk done next and then the human barbarian. If you have a request for a particular one to be done earlier rather than later, let me know.

8 pregenerated characters done. I am leaving for an SCA war tomorrow morning, so if you want something other than the monk and barbarian, let me know as they take a while and I think I can only get 2 done by this FG-Con.
I'm running my very first convention event on the Saturday. It's a conversion I've made of A-1 Secret of the Slavers Stockade (1st ed. D&D) to 5e. I've used some art programs to create a background, some old school tokens and portraits for the players to use with the old-school flavour pregens (I'll have to send those to them in advance of them logging in).
I'm looking forward to this.

When Rob posted 30 minutes after me I could get to the fron page, seemed to load slow, but then a few minutes later all was well.

I just wanted to wish you folks the best. I had planned to prep for a 2 day adventure with a level 14 gestalt frost and giant monsters ball thing, but life got in the way. Was looking forward to DMing for this since spring but life intervenes. Another time it shall have to be. Enjoy your games!

I have a potential player that says she cannot join as the game is closed but there is room for a player. Are bookings closed? I am running Cloud Giant's Bargain.
Ive opened your session up again.
In general we close bookings before the convention starts (to stop players chopping and changing at the last moment) - the FG Con website "Important Dates" section shows yesterday as the default last day for player registration for most events. When GMs created their event, they could have specified when the event would closed (documented in the GM guidelines).
If GMs want to re-open bookings then email [email protected] - do not edit your event as it will need to be reviewed before being published again and will disappear from the events list. But, be prepared for last minute communication with any new players - make sure you reach out to them via email ASAP after they've booked on your event.
Note: we won't do blanket openings for a lot of events (for the reasons stated above).
Balance Disturbed, group A (tomorrow), an original 5E adventure just had a player cancel so now there is room for one more. Check it out and sign up if interested!
