FG Con 9 - October 14th-16th, 2016

I will be finished clinical placement so I am ALL ABOUT THIS. Hopefully there is not going to be 2 / 7 people show up for my AL game this time! Perhaps I'll focus more on playing like I promised myself heh

Well, if you are bringing pre-gen characters, and if not everyone in the first session will be available on the second day, you can have new players to fill the free spots.

You will need an extra 15 minutes period to fill them in on what happed in the previous day, but from there, they can go on.
If the game you will be running have something like madness affecting the characters, you can even explore the “sudden change of personality” (another person playing a character differently) as the manifestation of that madness, for example.

Now a quick question: since this is my first FG Con ever, I need to know: is there a way to inform that my game will be on Portuguese, so we do not get anyone disappointed at the last minute?

Almost certainly, the other possible DMs around here will run games on Portuguese too.

Put [PORTUGESE] in the event name and also make it clear in the event description. And also when you email the players to get them organised before the event.

Now, another question... will any of you record and/or stream the your games?

I think it would be very interesting - and a good advertising tool for FG - to have some of the games on FG Twitch/YouTube channels. ;)

A handful of games have been streamed before. By all means go ahead and stream.

Thanks for he early notice. I am thinking about running a Hollow Earth Expedition scenario using either Savage Worlds or BRP.

Just created a step-by-step tutorial for Portuguese speakers, showing how to register as DM and also how to create an event. I didn't saw the need to make an English version, since there are instructions on FG-Con on how to do this.

I will be running my D&D 5E Hombrew Unknown Whom across three 4-hour sessions (12 hours total with 24 hours between sessions). If you sign up, please make sure to commit and sign up for all three sessions.

This game requires no preparation. All you have to do is show up. Newbies and vets alike are welcome. Sign up begins 9/16.

I'm in Rob's current campaign for Unknown Whom. We're about 6 hrs into it now. I can certainly vouch for it. Starting at Level 0 gives you an appreciation for what you do receive at Level 1. Anyone who complains about the lack of features and benefits with a Level 1 character needs to try starting at Level 0!

In all seriousness, it's been a great campaign so far and I highly recommend you sign up for it when he posts it.
