If Pure Steam RPG is fully Pathfinder compatible, then why can't you run it on the Pathfinder ruleset? Maybe it just needs mods for classes, races, items, skills, feats, and spells. Just a thought.

So official word is that they are not converting Pure Steam over to Fantasy Grounds, but only because they are a small design team and it's not in the budget. Do you know if Smite Works charges other companies to get their material converted over? I have no idea how this works, but I encouraged them to get hold of Doug Davison.
Assuming that we have someone available to do a conversion, we set up publishers with a royalty for any sales of Fantasy Grounds versions of their products. Unless we have someone interested and capable of doing a conversion -- including a graphical reskin for a theme, we wouldn't pitch it to a publisher. The publishers don't normally have the resources or knowledge to do it internally and we don't presently have the bandwidth to add another internal project.
It's usually royalty based, with a community developer doing the work. Some background info here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...tures-rulesets
IE you do it Niles and use the royalties to feed your FG habit. :)
Understood Doug and Trenloe. Nylanfs, thanks for your confidence, but I am way out of my league trying to create anything for FG! I wish I did know more and I would love to convert this campaign to FG because I love steampunk. But alas, I'm not gifted in coding or anything like that. Would love to see a steampunk campaign converted in the future, I think it's a neglected genre...
Thanks for your reply, Doug. Out of curiosity, since Pure Steam is already fully compatible with an existing ruleset (pathfinder), is there a simple way to convert the "basics" of the game over to FG? You know, weapons, armor, equipment, skills, races, classes, monsters, ect...? Something that didn't involve coding (which I know nothing of) more along the line of templates that I could input the information?
