Is there any way that we could be able to change the maps in purchased modules without having to replace all the pins?

My experience playing around with this indicates you can replace a map with a different one that's exactly the same filename. But if it's a different map with different dimensions and/or a different orientation, then the pins won't be in the right places and you'll need to move them around. I'm pretty sure the pins are saved at specific X,Y coordinates that probably won't be the same spots in a different image.
On the other hand, if all your doing is taking the original image, making changes to it (like removing room numbers, labels, and secret door markers) and not changing its dimensions or the file name, I bet it will work.

Mom is driving right now. I'm sleeping in the front passenger seat until we reach the next stop.
So, what is the first thing that people plan on doing with the datasets when they release?
I am probably going to organise an adhoc "we be goblins" game :)
I'm going to change the filter in my furnace.
I'll spend my time going through the ruleset to see what works and what's included. Go through my current mods and figure out what I still need to keep and what I need to replace. Incorporate Rise of the Runelords into two existing campaigns, and start looking at the next module I want to consider.
