I've had problems with Display Link with lots of different programs. If you are going to try and use it, you have to not let it update itself and try different versions until you find the one that works with the combination of programs you want it to work with.Quote:

Making announcements on April 1st is not a vert good decision but if this is real, i can't wait.
DisplayLink is a driver used by USB docks to allow multiple monitors to be used. I know it is used by my Dell USB dock,but I think it is used by others as well. (i.e. top allow a USB connection to the dock that then has HDMI or DisplyPort connections to multiple monitors).Quote:

If you consider what currently you have, I think the answer is clear - you need internet to play with friends remotely, local network connectivity if you are all at home and no internet if you will do something locally such as preparation for a game or simply reading a module.
