I'm positive that I'm using 100x100 sized tokens. Even my Large 200x200 are appearing smaller within my token box than these tokens.
Very odd.

I think the tokenbox actually scales stuff down more the bigger the original is.

It definately works that way. In my token box, the 200x200 large item is just as big as a 75x75 small creature.
You know, looking again, I think it is that these markers are discs, make them "look" bigger, since they fill up the complete area that a normal token takes.
