Pardon me if already answered... Any chances for a late pledge?
No and it has been answered already
I picked up FGU Ultimate during the KS, but none of my players jumped on it. When the beta comes out will there be a demo version so they can help me test it out?
I have pledged to the Unity Ultimate. Is there something else I am needing to do?
I know its been mentioned and if I remember correctly probably at some point, but probably not with initial Beta release.
Have you completed your fulfillment steps? i.e. the email you got awhile ago that had you go to a website, enter your license key, select what you wanted etc? Do that. If you do not have the email, reach out to [email protected]
Not sure what the question is. Have you received your email and finalised your pledge? If you pledged at a level for the Alpha you’ll get another email soon. Otherwise you will get the Beta which is still a few months away. Afpgain you’ll get an email when the time is right.
Thanks for the answers Zacchaues and LordEntrails.
Likewise....I contacted support and forwarded the pledge confirmation, which, other than the welcome emails, where the only messages I received.
The payment did hit. :)
Thanks to all in this. Dave Middleton forwarded the fulfilment link and everything looks good.
I received any rewards immediately upon my next update and now eagerly await Beta.
Not really. A few is a small indeterminate number. Possibly two, but more likely three or more. IMO.
I always used:
couple - 2
few - 3 to 9 or 3 to 10
Oooo, I LOVE this one.
Couple = 2
Few = 3
Several/Many = 4+
If we all can't agree on these numbers, ANARCHY!!!!
In this part of the world and just over the water is Scotland we have wheen.
A wheen is a small number (a few) of something. for instance you could have a wheen of potatoes.
Wow!.. lol! We have time on our hands to bring this this far..hehe. Mind you that in this day and age we need the funny silliness:)
It may be a smidge longer or shorter than what some of you have said.
I've got a Nickel that says it's November 19, 2019 at 1:37 p.m. Eastern.
Few = not many
But how much is a smidge!?
I get to decide what a smidge is; and I get to decide when we get there. :)

Please delete this, I did not mean to post twice.
I've looked but haven't seen this addressed anywhere. Will there be improved accessibility with the Unity version of FG? Basic stuff like text that isn't microscopic (just like, adjustable text size guys, it would be great)? (I use the big font addon which is still pretty tiny). As it stands the font situation is a real pain. I end almost every session with a headache from reading tiny text.
Font changes to FGU have been discussed, but if they are included in the initial release has not been addressed.
But, do you use "/scaleui" function? In addition to the various Big Font extensions and the ability to change your screen resolution prior to starting FG, you should easily be able to get reasonable font sizes for your setup.
Currently, there is no scaling at all in the FGU playtest alpha. We do know that we will need to add basic UI scaling, similar to what is in current FG version.
The problem with adjustable text sizes is that every window and field is laid out by the ruleset developers to look a specific way; so it's not a simple solution to just scale text. The entire layout needs to be scaled, in order to preserve the layout of windows. There's no such thing as a responsive UI in FG (and that's a very complex thing we don't plan on addressing anytime soon). So, this means that macro-UI-scaling is the solution for the foreseeable future.
The one benefit in FGU is that the scaling will be on a per-object basis, which means that the text will be much clearer when scaling, since it will be drawn directly using TTFs at the final scaled size (instead of scaled after drawing like in current FG).

Makes sense John! I really love the direction everything is headed in and it makes sense to not create new things that might hamper current progress with what you guys have. I definitely think the scaling that you are going for is going to be sufficient. I love the scaling already in classic so if the Unity version is going to be clearer that will be awesome.
Is there a forum, site, or ??? to post/report/list bugs in the FGU Alpha? I'm not saying I really have anything to report and certainly don't want to bug anyone... just curious :)
There was mention that Alpha testers would have access to a special sub-forum here to list and discuss. But as I'm not an alpha tester, I would not be able to see it. Check the sub-forums here to see if you see such a thing. Otherwise any such info would probably be in an email sent to you.
The support section holds the Aplha forum.
ok... I don't see anything... link?
Then your pledge is not linked with your forum account. You need to reach out to [email protected] so they can link the two.
ok ty - emailing them now
If you are a KS backer with alpha access (VIP/Party/Patron/Benefactor) and you don't see the Playtest forum; please let us know via [email protected], and we'll get you squared away.

Question about walls on FGU. I noticed that Foundry VTT was also either drawing upon your wall setup or already had this in their project but what they do with walls is interesting. Mixed in with LoS and FoG settings is pretty sweet. Any info on that in what the goals are for what FGU is planning on for LoS options for tokens? Can't wait for Beta!!:D
