Pathfinder Monster Codex and Pathfinder Ultimate Wilderness have a swathe of errors which I assume is from the parser
many creatures have an erroneous "-" within their type at the start
example:
Attachment 49309
and some don't have their Type fully parsed
example:
Attachment 49308
which is missing everything
these are new developments, since what changes were pushed last time, and seem to be endemic to the whole module
although shown as Monster Codex the exact same errors occur in Ultimate Wilderness too, again, since the last update to these modules (I expect if other modules use the same parser, then these errors would also be present, though I dont have the heart to comb through right now)
Thank you for reporting this Zygmunt Molotch,
the dash (-) in the first picture referenced the invisible field of raceclass in fantasy grounds. essentially if a creature had any class it would have been written there (example gnoll fighter 3), with dash (-) as the default where the field is empty. I removed the dash to avoid confusion.
as for the 2nd screenshot, you were right, some filed in the race class entry had extra information that didn't belong there, so could not be displayed properly: i fixed that bug.
for ultimate wilderness, 99% of the npc presented are familiar, so they do not have a raceclass field, so i removed the dash (it should show up as blank) followed by alignment, size and type (humanoid, etc)
I pushed a revised version and it should be live within a week or 2.
thanks again
shadowcat
just to let you know
these same errors are also present in Villain's Codex
also in Villain's Codex and Monster Codex, something's gone wrong with the special abilities link for some creatures
Attachment 49340
and for some their name has also become entered on their TYPE field
Hi;
I have Rise of the Runelords Anniversary edition and there is no LOS after Chapter 1. Isn't the whole thing done for LOS?
There is LOS for all chapters of Rise of the Runelords. Sounds like there may be an issue going on locally. Some steps you might try to fix:
* Make sure you are fully updated.
* Restart FGU and/or your computer.
* Revert any changes to the image file(s) by right clicking on the image name and selecting "revert changes".
* Try starting a new campaign and seeing if the problem happens in that campaign or only in your current one.
Others may have more suggestions. That's all I can think of.
Hope it helps,
Danny
I'm not seeing that on my machine either.
Can you try these steps? (which are the steps I followed)
* Launch FGU
* Click on folder icon in upper left of launch screen
* Rename "modules" folder to "modules.temp" in File Explorer
* Return to FGU
* Click Create Campaign option
* Enter "TestCampaign" as name
* Select PFRPG as ruleset
* Click Start button
* Once campaign completes loading, click on Library button in tabletop sidebar
* Click on Modules button in Library window
* Search for "Rise of the Runelords" in the name filter box
* Load the module titled "Rise of the Runelords Chapter 2 The Skinsaw Murders"
* Click on Images button in tabletop sidebar
* Go to end of Images list using last page button
* Open the map titled "Map - The Shadow Clock"
* Click the lock button to unlock the map and show the image data panel
* Click on the Line of Sight mode in the image data panel (looks like a wall icon)
* View the LoS data on the map
Regards,
JPG
That works! - something in the Modules folder stops it from working. When I change the folder name back - no LOS. What is going on?
You have a version installed in the modules folder which is overriding the installed version from the Forge. (This usually happens when content from unofficial sources is copied there. (such as pirated or custom material)) Just get rid of the old modules folder, and do a new Check For Updates to restore official modules.

There was a lot of junk in there- starting fresh. I think I corrupted some old modules when I originally played around with ROTL. I had made the mistake of using onedrive to synchronize things to a few different computers. It was time to clean it all up - I didn't know what 1/2 of it was for, and now everything is much simpler and better.
Pathfinder 1 core rule book extension is missing Pathfinder Theme
I'm not following what you are reporting here. The "Theme: Pathfinder - Official" extension is bundled with the Pathfinder Core Rules product (PZOSMWPZO1110FG). You have to enable the theme extension for each campaign you want to use it on in the launch screen prior to launching the campaign.
Regards,

I was advised to report my issue of missing ''Pathfinder Theme'' here.

Hello again Jarek
As long as you have run an update the
I was able to confirm that the theme and desktop decals are not in the Pathfinder 1e extensions. I would recommend making a post in our Pathfinder 1e bug report forum letting our devs know that these are not there. We like all reports added there so we can get fixes and updates.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Jarek.

I'll follow up with David. As far as I can tell, the patch system is correctly delivering the theme extension and portraits for the Pathfinder Core Rules product (PZOSMWPZO1110FG). There are no decals with this product.
When you start a create a new Pathfinder campaign, are you not seeing the "Theme: Pathfinder - Official" extension in the list of available extensions? (i.e. they are in alphabetical order, so would be near bottom of list.)

Hi,
Yes, I see that, but doesn't look like like one from other users, no ''goblins'' icons etc.
I thought this one is a standard with basic, free, Pathfinder rule set.
Screenshot attached.

The functionality of the sidebar has changed since the initial screenshots were created; and the goblins on the sidebar no longer exist. The next version will be moving to categories and icons per record type.

That explains a lot.
Thanks.
It may be worth it to update such screenshots of store products; not of all products because that would take a while :D But of the products offering a new theme :)
The Instant Weapon spell in the Melee Tactics Toolbox has a Saving Throw and Spell Resistance entry listed for it, when the source doesn't have them listed for it. These need to be removed from the spell as it doesn't have them.
The Bestiary module for pathfinder is broken (FGU) ?
I just started a new session, no unofficial extension and all the spells DC are false. I have no problems with campaign bestiary (like kingmaker, as example).
Attachment 49854
p.s. the DC is correct when the NPC is in the combat tracker
Fortunately this is just a display bug that has not been fixed for some years. If you target another character and click the save button it does use the right DC for the roll. If you need to see the DC correctly, you can unlock the npc sheet and then it should show correctly.
Only if you add the NPC in the combat tracker or if you unlock the NPC sheet.
But if you only open the NPC sheet of the bestiary and lauch the DC spell, it's incorrect.

[11/22/2021 4:36:13 PM] MEASURE: MODULE LOAD - 1827.5409 - Towns of the Inner Sea Setting
Druma, Profit and Prophecy shows no Images at all on the Image button, as if the werenīt exported.
Very confusing... I am using the Vault version of Towns and I'm not experiencing that error...
However, I am also using the Vault version of Druma and while the Images pane from the library doesn't populate for me, although clicking on the Sidebar "Images" button does bring up the images. Are you saying that you don't see the Images from either source?
Anyway, I'm looking at these now (to the exclusion of all else!)
Thx.

@Morquendel
p.s. For Druma, does the Reference Manual work, generally, to bring up relevant images?
No, from the images bar i get the Images. Thanks for the tip.
But If Smiteworks would redo all stuff released, that would be great. The current state is displeasing. Every Module has itīs own structures. (As nearly all get done from different authors) If youīre just using one module sturcture make sense, but with every module loaded... and everyone using different naming i just get mad when i try to find specific stuff. Donīt get it why thereīs no naming like Module Shortname (Druma-1-NPC-Pictures, Druma-2-Battlemaps, Druma-3-Pictures etc and that sturture for all and everything from every publisher...)
Sorry not native speaking, hope its not offensive, but right now iīm having a hard time preping my stuff.
We're in agreement on issues of uniformity.
Did you see my other question about Images from Druma?
Do they show up correctly from pages in the Reference Manual?
So far, I am only having trouble accessing the Images from the Library column (which shows up blank, as you noted), which I'm looking at right now... very puzzling.
For Druma, when I recreate the module locally (from the current version of the source tree), and use it instead of the Vault version, then the Images link from the Library works correctly... So I'll get with Dominic and see what is going wrong.
yepp. Reference Manual and Image Toolbar are working as intended. Just from the modules Image space they arent working.
Attachment 50058
Ok, that is exactly what I'm seeing. The source files for Druma appear to be correct, so this should be easy to get corrected in the Vault version of the module.
Regarding Towns, I see the error in the source file, but it doesn't generate errors for me when I load it for some reason.
Q: Does the module work otherwise, after the errors are reported? Or does it fail to load, and work, at all?
The thing about those error messages is that they are correct: Those files do not exist as 'referenceimages', and the error is that these references (e.g. (modules/PCS Towns of the Inner Sea/referenceimages/Trunau (small).jpg)) exist at all... they shouldn't.
So, this one should also be fixable pretty quickly. I'm still puzzled about why I don't see the same errors.

Wish for Magnimar: could you insert the Monuments with images on the big city map? Right now, thereīs just the Boon text.
made my own mod...(if this is of any help i can send you the images) that way i would use one module less while in magnimar ;)
Put this Images as pins on the map
Attachment 50060
Yes, please, send me at least one of your images so I have an idea of what you want it to look like. You could p.m. it to me, if you like.
I have all the raw materials, so putting together the whole collection shouldn't be too much of a chore. And I'd rather have them in my own raw format so that if I ever need, or want, to make further changes I'll have the originals at hand.
Thanks!
- s.west
A couple of things: First, it had been so long since I had dealings with Magnimar (either in the game we're running, or from working on the module) that I didn't recognize that the image you linked to above was not an image from that PDF.
So, as it turns out, I don't have access to the various monument images that I assume you are talking about. I searched online and found a few hits from a few websites (like Giant in the Playground, and others) that have copies of those images, but I don't even know which Paizo document (if any) they are from... ??
Secondly, I'm glad you mentioned Magnimar, because I have found some missing story links (e.g., "Irespan References") that I need to correct. I know they worked, once upon a time... I don't understand how they can be broken now.
Anyway, let me know about those monument images, because I am completely uninformed as far as they are concerned.
Thanks!
