Parsing failures continue.
Version of PF2CreatureParser loaded is 1.4, and Fantasy Grounds Unity is fully updated.
I created a new campaign and the only extension enabled is the PF2CreatureParser.
I even deleted the PF2CreatureParser extension from the extension folder and let the updater reinstall it from the forge.
I have scoured through my source files for hidden or special characters and found none, at least on the first line where the error occurs.
I tried to simply type a statblock manually into the parser input, and get the same error as originally reported.
I copied direct from a PDF statblock straight into Fantasy Grounds (with appropriate editing for lines and ability format) and get the same error as originally reported.
I ran all of the above sequences on both my MacBook and Windows systems.
I did
not use the ParseJSONStatBlock button for these statblocks.
I DID create a "simple" creature on MonsterPFTools, downloaded the JSON, and copied that (using Notepad) to parser and that operation failed with the following error:
Quote:
[10/18/2024 10:38:58 AM] [ERROR] Script execution error: [string "PF2CreatureParser:..s/pf2creatureparser.lua"]:922: decodeJSON: Invalid argument
Can you send me a PM with the statblocks I sent that worked for you? I can't see the PM in my outbound message. I am curious if there is some codepage/character stripping that took place in that transaction.
Thanks for your prompt reply. Any thoughts or other suggestions would be appreciated, but I fear I have run the full gauntlet and failed.
