If it has more dice rolling options - Like Roll20 - I’m in ;)

The interface is ugly, but this can be mock-up. The "Cloud" server is completely doable and easy to implement as it is simple routing between clients, no need to have port redirection even if the server software is taking care of this.
I'm searching for a video or something that shows the dice improvements for FGU and can't find anything. If y'all know of anything, please point me in the right direction. All I can find is the mapping videos. If there are any other non-mapping teasers/demo videos, feel free to include those as well. Thanks!
Whoops! Yes text formatting, sorry! :) What I like the most about Fantasy Grounds is the DM support. But there's still a lot of space to improve in that area. Text formatting with hyperlink and auto-completion would be so good! I really hope to see the Kickstarter with a stretch goal including those features.
If Fantasy Grounds and Realm Works had a baby that would be my best VTT :D
From what I know all the new VTT software are too much focused on map features. That's why I'm still with FG.
If this is a joke I will drop minimal amounts on unity when it comes about rather than my usual "everything" approach.
Rather than being excited I am just irritated, maybe that is their april fools joke... won't know until may I guess
I think one of the very early FGU discussions Moon mentioned that text formatting capabilities would be enhanced just because it will be using the tools built into Unity. but, don't recall any demo or discussion of that, plus I'm sure that any characters would have to be valid in xml/LUA.
Why do you play with our feelings?!
I'm so hoping this is a real thing!
This should finally clear it up.

Pretty awesome. I'll pencil it into the expenses for May. Can't wait to see the results! :D
It is April Fools day here in the US.

I don't know, can I ever get over seeing Doug dance like that? I think I'm going ot have to wait until the shock wears off!
Congrats to Doug, John and the SmiteWorks team. We know you have worked hard for a long time and I'm sure you are as happy as we all are that you finally can announce this. Hope you might hint some more on the upcoming FGF streams.
Clearly I can not drink the cup in front of me!

Oh. My. God !
Damn...
I am very excited :)
many moons ago I decided to be VERY cynical of anything announced on April 1st. I still stick to that today so .....I'll just say "neat" for now in case this is april fools, I'll wait a couple days if it turns out legit I'll allow myself to be more expressive with excitement.
Though Doug has tried to reassure us with his dancing... I think waiting until FGFriday this Friday would be wise ;)
Isn't 5. 1. 2019 5-th January 2019?
Thank you for clearing it boys. One must still learn during journeys over world :o
ISO 8601 format is 2019-05-01, which make a lot of sense and has the benefit of sorting properly when you use it in file names
I think that SmiteWorks are totally justified in having a little fun with this announcement after all the work they must have had to put into this project. I can't wait till May!
Still not sure these clarify things. I sure hope it is real, a more definitive answer would be better. Or at least a fullscreen screenshot of the kickstarter project page he created, even if it is not available for public viewing yet on Kicktstarter.com
April Fools is yesterday here on the other side of the Intl date line
Good morning East Coast! So.. . is Doug still wearing his green shirt or we got a Kickstarter FGU shirt on this morning:)
What a crazy streak of excitement yesterday! Can't wait!
