Thanks, and glad you noticed the fog. I actually put the fog on 3 different sheets, that way I could overlap them and get nicely blended densities as well as the effect you are mentioning:)

For those of you running something in Waterdeep, The City of the Dead is an area that you might just need to have an encounter or two in. At least one of the faction missions in DoMM includes a fight in it. So, enjoy, and be warned, this is a 1.6MB file at 50 pixels per 5 ft square, alignment square in the top left.

Nice map. There are a host of critters packed into one building in the center. I am not sure if this is intentional or not, but is it possible to get a version without the critters?
This map also fills in a void that exists in the available material "out there" (at least to my experience). Large enough AND small enough so that one gets a sense of the city and it can be still used tactically, rather than just a visual reference ("See big tree next to the red bush? The blacksmith is right there").
This scale of map is very useful.
That's not a building, that's a monument, "Warriors of Waterdeep". Not sure if it's canon or not, but found the reference to it here; https://oakthorne.net/wiki/index.php...d_of_Waterdeep and liked it. It seemed to add something of interest, i.e. not just another mausoleum.
Yea, I couldn't find one that was usable as a battle map, that's why I made one :) I referenced other Waterdeep maps so I should have the walls and building locations that match canon.
Here's another recent map I did. This one is for the Shrine of Asmodeus used with the Alexandrian Remix of Waterdeep Dragon Heist. Because the basement is so small, I put it on the same map as the main floor/map. Which makes it larger than normal, but should be ok. This map is at 100 pixels per 5 foot square.

I realized I had not updated this in some time. And now I see that many if the images are missing. I've tried to update the individual posts, but it's usually not working... so. just going to make new replies here with many of the maps I've made. Note, my earlier maps were at 50 pps, current ones are done at 100 pps. I don't know which are done whic way. Though sually a five foot square will be found in one corner.

Created for a FrontierSpace campaign as a small mining town (which happens to have a bank in case theirs's a need for a robbery!)

And a series of wasteland in the same background fills.

More with the same background fill. In this case it's a facility that has just finished the exterior shell construction. It's claimed to be a science observation facility by the construction supervisor...

Do it, I would buy them.
Planning on doing a map module, but haven't gotten to it yet. But here's a couple new maps for you....
This one is an alien facility that is a quick build dome. Working on alternate interior layouts too.

Had to zip them since they are .webp files. Here are some low res screen shots.

So I put together a module and listed it on the Forge. Details here: Entrail's Sci-Fi & Modern Maps
Thanks! And THANKS!
These ones particularly made me rethink my no-scifi rule.
When the words alien + facility comes together, I get tempted to run a sabotage mission to save the galaxy.
But scifi is too alien for my medieval ages brain lol.
When i try to imagine what those machines could do, i cant think of anything.
But It is amazing to see people run entire scifi campaigns and create these futuristic gadgets.
Alien-ish for sci-fi is perfect :)
I tried to make these feel alien, and I also wanted to give them a sense that these are almost quick setup structures that can be adapted for various use. So I did two variations, though they have the same outer foot print and mechanicals, they are built out differently on the inside.
I used a glass table symbol as a type of liquid cocoon-bed. And a i don't know what for the shower/toilet.
Oh, I love to blow up those cocoons in video games :D But sound fx, vfx cant replace real imagination.
These images, especially your big scale maps are ripe for story and tactics.
But I lack futuristic info to express them.
But for starters, they inspired me to place a dilemma: targets are cocoons but blowing them up means life forms inside will go out unharmed because the inner shell protects them. Not blowing them up means they'll go out stronger.
lol, yea, dilemmas are good :)
I tried to make sure these maps were not stand-alone or single use. For instance, the Titan Forge maps, I used for multiple visits by the party to the facility. Once as potential partners/clients where the visited the south building. Another where the raided the north building for specific info. And then they realized later they had to go to the data archives to destroy backup copies of the data they had stolen. Oculus base they have only visited one of the northern domes, but they are probably going to have to go back to destroy the main emitter array and the particle accelerators. Similar with the Void Enclave map. First time they visited they were delivering supplies to a shady organization, next time they were infiltrating and blowing it up!
So I was going through replacing the missing links/images and then realized that I had already re-posted the missing images later on. So here's one I did on request. Don't know if the module ever got released, but this is an alien "Hunting Preserve" So the wall is to keep things in, and not out. Though maybe their is a cave complex in the SE that has tunnels that lead out. Or the wall in the north with the lake and river running through it has a way to get through... I wouldn't know...
