It is actually a bug...
The workaround:
"Yeah, I was just able to recreate your problem. You can 'fix' it by deleting the Token - Flat image from the Portrait and Tokens window (using the trash can when hovered). Then, select that PCs portrait again using the top 'Portrait' icon in the Portrait and Tokens window so that Token - Flat gets reset with the new portrait image. Then, delete and redrag/add the PC to the CT from the Characters window and it should have the frame. I didn't make a code fix for this... and might not going forward since it can be coerced into displaying the frame like that. Good luck!"
I noticed that the character sheet name font color changed so I changed that back to white. I also had some older Combat Tracker adjustments to the header and formatting that are going in. It will be v2.9.42. Lemme know if it screws anything up and I'll revert it if so. Otherwise, I'll keep collecting changes to fully release it sometime soon.
Hi, it's hard to confirm this, but my players and I are experiencing some difficulty clicking on the Character Sheets tabs. This isn't an issue with other themes, persists even with a new campaign loaded, and didn't occur until the recent FG change to character sheets. I think the tabs are scaling differently and are now too small. I love this theme and I'd chalk it up to "the oddities of FG updates" except my players are having trouble with it too. I'm willing to try and replicate it with a video but it is less pronounced for me because I have large monitors and a sensitive mouse.
I'll see if I can make any adjustments.
I found a few more pixels of wiggle room that might help a little bit. I'll try and get that posted up sometime today. This stuff is so frustrating... makes my love for FGC grow because it NEVER CHANGES. Sigh.
What are you trying to adjust with small pixel adjustments?
In general, themes should avoid "fine-tuning" positioning of elements, and focus on high-level asset replacements (frames/fonts/icons/etc.) and top-level window templates (positioning edges of content within top-level windows).

Whatever template I was looking at for my tabs. I'm trying to do as little as possible to keep it working somewhat decent. I recommend people move to the new dark theme which is maintained by Smiteworks.
The top-level templates in common/template_windows.xml are the ones that should be modified for each top-level frame, if the frame is overriden.
Those control the placement of the tabs for each top-level window type (one per top-level frame); as well as content anchors (2-3 per top-level frame).
You may already be looking at those; but wanted to make sure.

Thank You. The adjustments seem to have helped. Genuinely appreciate all the effort. I love the new Core themes, but I can't do without the minimalist window borders and clean edges of this theme. Couple that with the invisible link buttons in the hotbar and the much nicer map pins and I keep coming back. This absolutely should be an official theme.
Hearth is ONLY one that takes into account extensions. At least for all of mine anyway.
Hi there, the new UI changes have added some things, and I'd like to know if there's an update planned to address them? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.
No plans. Give some examples of what you found.
Primarily, the new dice on the character main tab and, to a lesser degree, the new context menus. The context menus are actually fine, it would just be nice to see them with the same square borders as the rest of the theme, but changing the icons on the main tab is my main concern.Attachment 64177Attachment 64178
Context menus I prolly won't mess with for now. That blue dice color I'll try to turn to the cream color.
Alright... give it a shot, they should be that cream color now. v2.9.46, 4/27/25
Yes, thank you very much.
It's good to see the Theme still alive and kicking. Thank you @JustinFreitas for your continued support.
I've just recently tried out a new font style for possible implementation into hearth. Roboto has always been 'the best bad choice' to me, so expect a pull request to the repo soon.
There seems to be a lot going on on the UI front - gotta check out the new official dark theme. On that note special thanks to the SmiteWorks devs for helping taking care of requests related to theming.
Cheers
The latest Fantasy Grounds update changed the pins. Attachment 66285
That's by design; and would be quite a bit of work for theme designers to have to create and replace every UI/Image link graphic.

Those pins are annoyingly large for sure in the new update.
Pull now.
2.9.47 - Torchbearer - Fixes for the CT resize handles. Use Hearth map pin style instead of new pin style. Use Hearth button link on CT actor entries (last icon) instead of new link icons. Reduce seams in field layout. Parcel menu button padding.
While I love the new pins and the less noisy CT - the pins are incorrectly compensating for scaling. As you can see in this image with both views zoomed out - the FG pins stay properly located over their positions - the Hearth pins do not remain anchored or scaled properly I don't know which but they are wrong and change as scale of map changes.

Ok, I'll revert the pins out tonight.
Reverted. 2.9.48 - Torchbearer - Reverted the map pin and button changes.
I'll revisit the pins at some point as I prefer the old ones.
I figured it out. I made the old pushpin image the same dimensions as the new FGU ones, filling the expansion with transparency. Then I centered the point of the pushpin on the center bottom edge. That keeps it in the same spot when scaling. Unfortunately, the transparent area is large above the pushpin which is obvious on hover, but at least it looks like the old way. Would you like for me to commit that and push or hold off for a while?
UPDATE: Secret pins worked but switching them to shared/public is screwy. I'll just sit on it for a while and see if any fixes come to mind.
Hearth theme breaks global effect button at the top left of the combat tracker.
Thanks. I'll get it fixed soon.
