Sorry everyone for the lack of updates. I still can't make room to get back into it. I'll try to include Justins changes until the end of next week. JustinFreitas <3.
I’ll open a pull request with latest fixes this weekend. Thanks!
Edit: I also have a FGC port on a separate branch if anyone needs that.
For either Sir Motte or Justin -- Sir Motte added font color support to an existing extension which has been working great, but I am working with the Dev of the extension for an updated version of it and it will need to have support added back to it for the dark Hearth theme. (text font on the extension is unreadable and a small graphic used by the author is based on light themes and is also unviewable (black on dark background color). What do you need from me or the dev to get support for the updated extension added? (purposely not saying who or which one it is as they have not released any information on it and I didn't want to be "that guy") Thank you
Sure, I can add it back in... sounds like it's not alot. Send what you need changed and the extension file so that I can adjust whatever for the Dark Theme. I think SirMotte is gonna make a new version some day soon. I have changes ready to go in that I can add this to.
Is there any way to make the default menus on the right side of the screen unlockable, or be able to choose between left and right anchor?
I'm using Better Menus extension, but I'm realizing I might prefer the default menus if they were on the left rather than the right.
Additionally, I'd LOVE to be able to lock the position of the Combat Tracker.
Thanks much!
No worries. I'm not sure how much of the UI is changeable through themes.
Thanks!
I know this can be changed with themes, however, if you did want to do that, you likely would add that as another UI theme you use and then use this one to color/theme it.
Have you looked up the EXT called Better Menus? It sounds like you could really use that one.
Yes. I've been using it for a long time and do like it a lot.
It has a couple of shortcomings:
Can't drag menu items to hotkey bar.
Doesn't include every new menu from other extensions.
News, news, news.
I have made the decision to pass the torch for Hearth Theme to Justin Freitas and my trusted comrades at the Unofficial Developers Guild.
It is no longer possible for me to work on the theme unfortunately. I won't be gone or anything though so maybe someday I will continue my contributions again.
More news coming soon, and a new version with a lot of fixes by Justin and others.
Thank you for all your hard work and passing the torch!!!
Update to v2.9.22 - Torchbearer
Announcement:
Like the Themes title suggests,
I will pass on the torch for Hearth to others. Namely Justin Freitas and the Unofficial Developers Guild.
Unfortunately I'm no longer able to maintain the theme in a reliable fashion (have been for some time now as you know).
Thus I have decided to step down as a maintainer. I'm not gone mind you, I just want to lift the increasingly heavy feeling of guilt that has been weighting on me for some time now.
I may or may not contribute to Hearth Theme in the future if I feel like it.
Please give a cheerful "HipHip Hooray" to Justin Freitas. I strongly believe he is the perfect fit to further improve Hearth.
That being said, here comes the changelog, all thanks to Justin and seanmccarty. This is where you cheer again please :D.
Taking a long rest.

Heck yeah awesome!!!!!
Thank you both of you guys.
Sincere thanks! This is high on my ever-growing list of extensions I can't imagine playing without.
I'm so glad to be able to read heigh indicators again... and it looks like layer names during editing and some fields in the image editor are more readable than before... still yellow on white, but a darker yellow.
Hey! There's some issues with Pathfinder 2. There's a new Tab on the character sheet that doesn't get formatted by this extension, and the boxes for the attack bonuses clashes with the font color. I love this theme, other than these small issues. <3
I had a hard time with this... couldn't find a quick/easy fix. I couldn't find where the panel was exposed to learn about its various components, thus, wasn't able to change the yellow on white without affecting other stuff. I'll keep thinking about it and ask around to see if others have had any success here.
Hi. Thanks for the report. I'm not normally a PFRPG2 FG user but did open up a campaign and saw the issue with the Activities tab. I also noticed that the theme wasn't accounting for the PFRPG2-Legacy ruleset. I got those two things working on my development environment and will now check out the attack bonus clashing. More soon.
Yes, that's great. Thanks a ton.

v2.9.22.1 is just some fixes to support the PFRPG2-Legacy ruleset that was causing some display issues. Didn't wanna deal with a full release so I just bumped the build number and added the new addition to the bottom of the changelist. Lemme know if issues, thanks.
Thanks for your hard work, this is awesome.
Does this theme work with DnD 4e? I remember really enjoying it with 5e, but I tried it the other day with 4E and i wasn't able to read any of the feats or powers. The font color and window backgrounds were the same color or something.
The Theme_SirMotte_Hearth\graphics\pngs\portrait.png file is causing any portrait with transparency to get the dotted line circle to bleed through into the background of the portrait. This is the base background of the portrait which shows up when no portrait is present or when a portrait is present its the background.
Having graphics in there means it becomes the background of any transparent part of a portrait. I would suggest having a more neutral background. For example this is what happens in my games with transparent portraits (see places I put red square around - though you can see bleed through in other portraits there also)...
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...4&d=1702872709
Ok... I'm gonna remove the dashed circle and the question mark, considering that people are using portraits with transparency. I've always just made sure my portraits are exact squares with no transparency but we can't count on all user's doing that either.
There may be more to this than I realized as I tried to edit your portrait.png, portrait_token.png, and portriat_mini.png where I dropped them in Paint 3D and just erased the inside dotted circle and question mark then filled it with the black background color already there. But it seemed to yield bizarre results to the portraits and tokens (big white blots with very small images in center). So just a heads up - may some weirdness in how you edit those .png files and store them (sizing or something).
Thanks. I made the changes on my dev branch and they seem fine. I’ll double check again tonight. Prolly push out the update if all is well.
Great! I need to do the release post but I've just been pushing little fixes here and there until then... kinda collecting them. I'll do that this weekend.
Just noticed this recent change since the 15th of Dec, specifically affecting the attack mod fields in the actions tab. I've included a pic of what we are seeing for clarification. :)Attachment 59590
We're using PF2e sorry! :)
Issue resolved by removing existing extension and forcing a reload. Thanks for the help gentlemen! :)

Update to v2.9.22.2 - Torchbearer
Announcement:
Hi Friends. Just getting the notes up for the Forge release on 12/20/23. Was stalling to see if I had time for more fixes but time ran out. I put a TODO list at the bottom of some known things that need fixing. Enjoy, Justin

- Fix for PFRPG2-Legacy character sheet inventory tab spellfailure console error.
- Applied the same fix/workaround as the token height label to the token name label so that the new hover token display on images works the same. When height fix goes in, we can make both of these Hearth/Dark style.
- Inhibit the new menu building functionality until a full fix can get in. Instead, just add a close icon to all window menus for now to prevent the CoreRPG buttons from showing.
- Fixed a couple of new style issues in the 4E ruleset.
- Changed the token background pngs (with the golden frame) to remove the white question mark and circle to avoid those artifacts from showing through when transparent pngs are used for portraits.
TODO for Future:
- Fix the menubar stuff correctly such that I no longer have to inhibit some of the controls being built.
- Fix the various fields in the Image window right editor pane.
- Fix the new token hover display and also the height field to be dark themed.

This is epic, thank you.
You’re welcome! SirMotte noticed some visual issues with the png files I had run thru an optimization tool so I’ll work to get the originals restored soon. Maybe this weekend, time depending.
