You always had to. The new feature in the 2024 books are they are able to be edited now without making a copy.
They are normally read only records.

Extension won't allow me to use basic effect such as:
IFT: frightened; ADVATK
Disabling extension allows that effect to work.

I've noticed that when loading this extension, the button at the top of a NPC that allows to talk as that NPC in the chat, disappears. Above are the only other extensions that I have loaded.
Hi. I've been testing this version of the advanced effects and noticed a slight issue. I can apply the "action only" effect to weapons only. It's needed for ammo too for the Bmos' Ammo Manager to work.
Without it the ammo's effect is applied to all attacks.
It's there with the subtype Ammunition. I guess if you are playing PFRPG I don't know if the subtype is different or not
