Basilisk's Thread of Stupid Questions
Hey guys, I feel like I'm gonna run afoul of alot of questions as i start my way through this zany adventure that is Fantasy Grounds. I think I run into a problem with the shear wealth of information available, I end up spending forever combing through tangentially connected but unhelpful atm information. So i figure instead of cluttering the forums up with question after question, unless you'd prefer that :P, I plan to lump them all here. I feel like many new players without anyone with experiencing assisting them will run into these, so it might be helpful to new players like me.
QUESTION ONE: Im testing with how everything works, I have an ultimate license. My Wife has a demo account to help me figure things out and we are currently working on character creation. I thought she should have access to everything I do as the GM while we are sharing a connection. Yet she cant see the spells to select her sorcerer's spells, and when i drag and drop them into the chat window she gets an error. how does the GM share resources with players? (Yes, she is logged in through the settings and i see the modules loaded)

QUESTION TWO: Is there Healing Potion automation?

this. It shows you how to set up a healing effect. Obviously you'll want better names and description than are in the graphic. Also you can set this up in 'preparation' mode to be usable only once so when it is consumed it goes away and won't come back again until you get another one.
It's probably quite useful to have a read through the rest of that effects article if you are just starting out trying to get your head around them

There are probably better answers... It will actually show this as a Healing action.

- Roll the 2d4+2 as damned mentions above.
- Hold down the CTRL key and drag from the roll result of step #1 and drop on the Wnd column in the combat tracker.
- The chat window reflects the -9 being applied to wounds as a healing action.

The player can do a similar process, but they can't drop on the combat tracker - CTRL+drag the roll result number to the HP "Wnd" field on the first (Main) page of the character sheet.
