I have a feature idea I would like to see in Fantasy Grounds. Where should I send it?
Where can I get more information on Fantasy Grounds
The Fantasy Grounds Message Boards are full of useful information and if you cannot find what you are looking for, you can always ask. The atmosphere is friendly and very helpful. You might also want to check out the Wikipedia entry, which (at the time of writing this FAQ) contains a link for a "how-to"-type article on Fantasy Grounds.
Additionally, a number of fan sites offer valuable resources.
There are black boxes where text and/or images should appear. What can be done?
Check that your display adapter is DirectX 9 compatible and has at least 32 MB of video memory. Update the latest display drivers from adapter manufacturer's site (e.g. ATI or NVIDIA) rather than from the site of your computer brand. Download and install the latest DirectX drivers from Microsoft.
Some display cards (at least ATI Rage Fury, Matrox Millennium G400, Matrox Millennium G550, NVIDIA Riva TNT2, Matrox Parhelia, ST Micro KYRO, S3 DeltaChrome S8, SiS 315, Trident Blade XP,SiS Xabre 400, and XGI Volari) are known to have issues.
Why cannot I post on the forums / troubles registering?
Contributing to the discussions on the forums requires registration.
Registering requires visiting a certain link sent by the forums software to the e-mail address you gave. Be sure to enter a valid e-mail address and in case you do not receive the message, check your spam filter and be sure to allow e-mail from [email protected]
Please note also that only the character written in black is to be typed in the image verification field.
Building and selling an add-on for Fantasy Grounds
Publishers and IP owners should send an email to ddavison at fantasygrounds.com with a request for information. We are very interested in carrying products from additional publishers and providing official support for as many role-playing games as possible.
Fans and users with development, modding or digital artwork expertise may be interested in doing conversions for works which have already been approved for conversion from one of our licensed publishers. I have a subscription, but when I updated, I received the Free license
Your subscription account was most likely canceled due to an inability to process payments. In some cases, Paypal's subscription service suspends collection of payment after failed attempts to process payment. This may mean that you need to review which payment method you had set up and possibly contact those financial institutions so that they allow future payments to be processed. Alternately, you may need to use a different method of payment.
To resolve this issue, we recommend canceling the current subscription from within Paypal or from your Store > Order History page (see the section on cancelling a subscription), waiting five minutes and then start a brand new subscription directly from the Fantasy Grounds store. As long as your first subscription has already been canceled, then you will receive a brand new license key. Enter this key into your Fantasy Grounds setting window and then re-run a Check for Updates. The software should re-install and all of your existing campaigns and creations should still be available.
