XML Parse Error

I recently reinstalled Windows XP with Service Pack 3, and now whenever I try to host a game in Fantasy Grounds, I get this error message:

A XML error occured processing file base.xml / Error on line 0:document empty.

What does it mean? How do I fix it?

That means something is wrong with the ruleset you are attempting to load. If it's the Foundation you might have to reinstall. Otherwise you'll probably need to download the ruleset from where ever you originally got it and reinstall it.

It is foundation, and I've reinstalled 3 times already.

You've got the 2.3.6 Full version of FG? You usually get that error when you have an old version of FG and newer version of a ruleset.

Although I'm certain I updated the other installs of FFII, updating this time seemed to do the trick. Thank you for your advice! It works now.
