Problems hosting

Okay, so i know that port 1802 is closed, but my real problem is that I'm on someone else's (my land lord's) wireless connection. My question is this:
Is there any way I can circumvent opening a port in order to host?
or any other ideas?

Unfortunately I don't know of any other way around this. More techinically-minded people might.

Have you tried explaining the situation to your landlord? After all, they may be open to the idea once they know what it's for. No harm in asking! :)

I think there is a VPN solution using Hamachi (not sure of the spelling) which can be used to tunnel through routers to the internet.
