Following on from Xorne's example, I've been hunting around for some suitable Call of Cthulhu pictures which can be taken and converted for use as tokens. The following list of websites provides a good selection, but if anyone knows of more sites then please expand the list.

I'm focusing on the 1890 and 1920 eras, which are harder to track down. There are plenty of images/token sets out there which can be used to represent the modern day setting. Cthulhu monster figures are much harder to find and seem to be exclusively limited to RAFM.

Counter images from the rulebook and supplements (the "classic" B&W drawings, which I think evoke the best feeling of CoC!)

1920's Miniatures (in the same vein as D&D Minis)
RAFM (www.rafm.com/cthulhu/index.html)
Pulp Figures (www.pulpfigures.com)
em4miniatures (www.em4miniatures.com)
HorrorClix (www.whizkidsgames.com/horrorclix)- they are a bit too cartoony!

Pre-made token packs
Counter Pack 4: Eldritch Horrors & Occult Investigators (www.rpgnow.com)

World War I/II
For King and Country (kingandcountry.co.uk)
King and Country (www.kingandcountry.com)

Dark Ages
Black Tree Design (www.black-tree-design.com) - not many painted
The Foundry (www.wargamesfoundry.com) - also 1890, 1920, WWI/II
Warlord Games (www.warlordgames.co.uk) - mostly Celts and Romans

The process of converting the images to tokens is the same as outlined by Xorne in his tutorials.

Additionally, there are some great B&W photos to be found on the following websites which could be used for portraits of characters and NPC's in Cthulhu games:

www.silentladies.com
