Okay, my friend who is running the game pulled all of his shared tokens out of his folders, since he had WAAAAAY to many of them in there. Now whenever I try to connect, my side tries to load those tokens, fails to find them and one by one informs me of this process. Then it just stops doing anything. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Where these tokens in his ruleset folder? If so then you can try dumping you cache and redownload the ruleset from him.

I deleted my cache. It reloaded everything from him and then did the same thing with the tokens again.

Is this a long running campaign where the DM just used one campaign for everything? It sounds like your player id might be assigned as a holder/owner for something that has the tokens on them - probably maps. If this is true, have the GM free the character and as a test login with a different user name and select the character. See if the errors still happen.
