I recently purchased the full version and I think I am experiencing a problem. When I load fantasy grounds and click on the create/ view character button, I get this;

And clicking on that, I get this;

I could have sworn that I got 3.5 with this, and, upon clicking the modules button, It indeed says I do, but I can't access it. What's going on? I'd really hate to have wasted 40.00.

Did you activate the 3.5 extention when you created the campaign with the foundation ruleset? Or is this a campaign you created previously with the D20 ruleset?

Since version 2.3.6 of fantasy grounds, 3.5 support is divided in the foundation ruleset and the 3.5 extention.

Jorgo is trying to create a character locally rather than use a campaign. Since the switch to distribution with the foundation ruleset and the 3.5 extension this is currently not possible (as extensions can't be used with the local character functionality), and will hopefully be addressed in a future update.

Jorgo, until this is fixed, you need to first create a new campaign using the Foundation ruleset, by clicking on the Host a Game button. Note your internal IP address that is shown in the box on the right. Then start this campaign with the 3.5 extension checked to give you the D&D rules.

Then... open a second Fantasy Grounds session on the same machine and log into your first session under a different name. You will then be able to create one or more characters and edit them. Once you've set up as many as you need you will be able to close the player session and edit them in your host session if you wish.

To allow them to be used by a new player when the time comes to run the game you'll need to right-click on them as host in the character selection screen and clear the owner.

Thanks, Spyke. I encountered the same problem and - being busy addressing alternate issues yesterday - I figured someone else would eventually get around to asking about it and getting an explanation.

This I was having same problem. About to spitt bullets I'd tried everything I could think of.

The d20 ruleset is made temporarily available again. See here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showpost.php?p=68410&postcount=5).
