Hi,

I would like to know:
1. Does FG2 support automatic removal/concealment of fog of war in the maps?
2. Is it possible to mark obstacles to light/line of sight in the maps?

Let me explain my question.
a. You design a map.
b. Each player plays with a token.

1. Is it possible to assign line of sight qualities to the tokens representing the characters? (i.e., radius of light sources they are carrying, whether they have Darkvision and that sort of thing)

2. Will the fog of war be automatically updated when one token with such "line of sight" is moved around the map?

3. Does each player get a different view of the map depending on his/her token's "line of sight" properties?

If the answer is no for the above, are the developers planning on implementing these type of things?

Sorry if this question has been answered somewhere else. I used FG a couple of years ago, but am new to FG2, and was interested on this topic.

The answer to all the above is "no." As a DM, it's up to you to completely manage the "mask" (as it's referred to in FG).

As for whether the developers are working on it, I don't remember seeing something like that on the wishlist so probably not. But you can always stop by the House of Healing and put that feature in.

I remember asking for these features, but I don't know if they're actively being pursued (unlikely, but the developers haven't ruled it out).

Actually, I pretty sure a whole re-working of the drawing and mapping are on the roadmap but I can't say what priority or how long I expect that to be released. When I was on board logging issues to the bug/request tracker Smiteworks had there were definitely several drawing/mapping tool requests logged.
