Also freezing at character screen

I am trying to use the d20_jpg ruleset with FG2.3.3, and the host seems to work. When I start the client using the localhost, however, the screen freezes on character selection. I changed the Chatmanager.lua file as described on the FUM site, but it still doesn't work.

Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong?

I've asked this question over at FUM, but no answer so far? Did I not describe it in detail enough? Am I the only one still using d20_jpg?
