As I am adding content to my first adventure, I am checking how it looks on a dummy character sheet. That is say putting magic amulets into the inventory. When I put the amulet in the inventory it says "Amulet of protection +1". And I was wondering if this show up as such on the PC side of things(this is without identified check off).

Secondly, is there a way to run both DM and Player on the same computer with just my one License of the game.

Easiest to check is just that...

Run a second client, connect to either "localhost" or IP 127.0.0.1 and change the username before connecting. FG is built to support this, and that sure helps us poor bastards making rulesets. :)

Glad to hear it. :) The soft is good enough that it has a lot of hidden functions. .... either that or documentation could be better. ;) Yer own choice as to which really.
