4E_JPG Issue x_x''

I may be a complete idiot, but I'm not sure how to get my 4E_JPG ruleset to work. I moved the folder into the ruleset folder, and it is the only ruleset that I have, that does not work. I get no buttons or anything, just a blank table. I did notice it was missing... PCgen, Modules, and charsheet spells. Eh... Am I missing files or something? XD

Probably you unzipped it in the ruleset folder. The real ruleset is in a subfolder.

If you download the latest release of 4e_JPG, you should be able to simply unzip it, paste it in your /ruleset/ folder, and go. Start a new game as a GM, make sure it's using the '4e_JPG' ruleset, and it *should* works.

Still not work? Make sure your using the latest release from the FourUglyMonsters forum, under the 4e development group. Very nice ruleset.

Dumb questions, but here's a few checklists:

Are you using a full or light edition of FGII?

Are you making a new campaign?

Are you making sure the new campaign is using the 4e ruleset?

What documents do I need to get rid of? I'm really confused as to what i'm supposed to do.

It goes data folder, 4E_JPG, and then I have all the folders for the ruleset (IE. Fonts, frames, tokens, script, icons, module, pcgen and the xml documents.)

It's like the standard D20 set with no buttons or options. (Below: 4E_JPG with me as the host, and it's the same when I am creating characters)

I'm using the full version, It doesn't give me any buttons or options either way (Creating or hosting games), and I'm fairly certain i'm opening the correct ruleset. XD

Actually, I also don't have any info on any fourth edition things. Just third in my other rulesets. Does the 4E come with the dictionary for things? (Skills, Feats, Powers, Etc.)

It seems like you might have one too many layers of folders. The confusion may be from when you unzip the 4E ruleset download it may create a folder called fg2_4E_JPG_v1_2 with a folder called 4E_JPG and a couple of text files called 4E_JPG_v1_2_docs.txt and 4E_JPG_v1_2_readme.txt.

The first thing you should do is move the two text files into the 4E_JPG folder. Then move the 4E_JPG folder into you FG ruleset folder in the Applications Data folder for FG.

The ruleset folder should look like this:

Note how the titlebar at the top (and the folders in the left pane) show the 4E_JPG folder is in FG's Application Data ruleset folder and with no extra folder in between them.
