Not sure if this is the proper place to post a "Hi, I'm new!" thread but I didn't see anything like a newcomers thread so-here goes.
I am an old dude that grew up playing pnp rpg's and have not played any since the early 90's. I have only just discovered FG and would like to check it out.
My rpg resume includes: D&D (startng with the boxed sets) up to 2nd ed., Star Frontiers, Shadowrun.
I have always wanted to try another sci-fi game like SW or traveller(sp). I am willing to try other rpg's but not interested in much outside of the space opera/swords and magic themes. I would love to play Shadowrun again although I remember little about it's mechanics.
I am an east coaster. The best days/times for me are as follows:
Mon-6pm-?
Thur-6pm-? (this could change in the future)
Sat.-can manage just about anything with advanced notice.
Sun-12-5 (unless we go out to eat or something after church)
