Hi Fantasy Grounds Community

Introduction: This thread serves a double purpose. First it shall serve as a resource for those wishing to play L5R (Legend of the Five Rings - AEG's Samurai RPG) via Fantasy Grounds II. To achieve this, I'll regularly update the links in this first post. Also, my group and I are converting various L5R Adventures and try to create some library modules, as well as improving the existant ruleset, but at least my skills regarding XML and Fantasy Grounds II are rather limited. So secondly I'll use this thread to tap into the vast knowledge that is assembled in this forum and hopefully solve some problems I encounter along the way.

The L5R Ruleset:
The ruleset we are using was written by Fu Leng and introduced in this thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7157). Thanks again Fu Leng for this marvelous ruleset!
Although Fu Lengs ruleset includes everything one needs to play L5R, we felt that we could expand the ruleset.

Tokens
Currently I use a combination of Tokentool and The Gimp to create my Tokens. The Tokens are 100x100 and each Token has a border in the clans/factions colour. I'll created these Tokens to get my campaign going, but one of my next mini projects is nicer wooden tokens (similar to the tokens included in the ruleset). I have no long-time file host, so I provided an additional eDonkey link.

Time for an update. While we made some minor modifications to Fu Leng's ruleset and started a campaign using said ruleset. I felt that it would be more rewarding and ultimately easier to stop modifying and start again from scratch.

So I went over to FUM and created a group called 'L5R 3rd Edition Revised FGII Development' (shamelessly imitating the 4e group). Every further development will take place over there. You'll find the group here (https://www.fouruglymonsters.com/index.php?option=com_groupjive&task=showgroup&groupid=40).

Currently we, that is BadElvis (one of my players) and myself are the only ones working on the ruleset - so every one willing to help is welcome to do so.

Also, after a lenghty discussion with BadElvis we decided to use Fu Leng's ruleset as a base and do a complete overhaul.
