Games are Sundays every two weeks from 5-8 p.m. CST.
Our campaign of four is interested in some new blood and 1 extra body to fill out those weeks when one or more players can't make it due to prior committments or memory lapses.
This is not a d20 campaign. The setting is a medieval though not strongly-feudal society with the open practice of sorcery. Story plot lines are based in and around urban adventuring. There are no dungeon crawls in the classical sense, rather the campaign's action focuses itself on skull duggery, mystery and intrigue, murders, dark magic, ancient curses, political machinations and the like.
The characters consist of Zimarus, a street-wise thug who tends to get himself into hot water with the law with astounding regularity and precision. Shivant, a lowly peasant-boy who is quickly becoming a master of the blade and who likes to think things through first. And Rikoro Drelin, an apprentice sorcerer, healer and academic, whose talents, social skills and table manners put him in sharp contrast to his commoner associates.
The most recent session included an intense late night battle in a church bell tower with a darkly-clad female killer, ritual magic courtesy of Rikoro Drelin and desecration of the slain woman's corpse by Zimarus. The session ended as the Heroes attempted to gain entry to the dead killer's apartment to search for clues pointing to who hired her to kill the Heroes' patron's father...
