Sound?

Hello all,

Is it at all possible to push sounds to the clients? I would like very much to be able to push things like ambient music or sound effects to the clients to enhance the immersion :)
Also, is there a thread somewhere where I might post suggestions like these for things I would like to see in FG, in case it does not exist yet?
And lastly, is there a way to change my board handle? Or should I just create a new account for that? *wonder*

Sound is a much requested, much debated feature. It is possible to stream sounds with Vent and some third party software. You can see the current FG wish list here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8625

I suspect you are going to need to make a new account to change your name.

I currently use Skype with the PrettyMay Plug-In. This Plug-In allows you to record your session and play mp3s.

I've had good luck using a Skype add-on called Pamela - described in the thread I ref'd.

Wow, that is a great thread I hadn't seen yet. Thank you for mentioning it, Khel. I will also look into those sites, if only for my RL campaigns :)
