Rolemaster skill errors - need to rebuild campaign?

Hi Zaccheus,

My campaign file is somehow corrupted and keeps giving errors concerning skill rolls. Its been a long one, atleast 15 years and now it seems that I need to start a new one. The images are easy, but can I somehow copy the LOS files connected to the images to the new campaign? Also is it possible to copy existing characters to a new campaign? Ruleset Rolemaster Classic.

I've moved this post to its own thread as the 5 year old thread it was posted in was only vaguely related to your issue. Please only post in other threads if your issue/question is 100% the same. It's perfectly fine to start a new thread. This keeps everything efficient for everyone and helps to avoid confusion all round.

Now, to get onto your issue. Getting errors could be related to extensions rather than a corrupt campaign files. I'd recommend posting details of the errors you're getting and we can try to assist in fixing those. Starting a new campaign should really be a last resort.

We are using FG only partly. It has worked fine before, but now we are getting a problem that skill rolls are not calculated to the dice rolls without us changing anything.

The error is in the FRP extension. I notice that you have an extracted local version of that extension - have you modified that yourself? If not, remove the FRP directory from <FG app data>\extensions and make sure you're running the latest version of that extension as recent core updates require some extensions to also be updated.

The problem was simple and your suggestion helped. No errors anymore. Amazing that after 15 years and all the changes along the way we can still use the same campaign file and continue our favourite hobby!
