HI,
I've got my Mac set up with a fairly old-fashioned (but deeply ingrained in my muscle-memory) way of changing between Desktop Spaces using CTRL-1/2/3/4/5/6 to switch between desktop spaces.
I've got a new bug with FG that if I swap space in this way away from FG then swap back, the CTRL-key gets "locked on" - you can see from the keyboard shortcuts at the bottom than FG thinks the CTRL key is being pressed when it isn't.
It happens in both my Shadowdark campaign and a vanilla new 5E campaign for testing.
It's not 100% reproducible but it seems to happen when editing a story and swapping the desktop space with CTRL and number key (eg to get a random name from a website or look something up). When you swap back to FG, FG has "got stuck" and thinks CTRL is being pressed when it isn't. Keyboard input becomes messed up and the only solution seems to be exit and relaunch. Holding down CTRL makes the hot keys swap to the un-pressed state but doesn't seem to fix regular typing.
This is new behaviour as of this week, never seen it before in 6 years of using FG and I've not changed anything else in terms of software updates on the machine as far as I know, just a regular check for updates on FG.
MacOS 15.7.3, MacStudio M2 Ultra.
Any help appreciated, as always! I use this hot-swapping constantly eg for Syrinscape control and looking stuff up on the web in a browser so a fix would be very welcome.
Cheers, Hywel
