Good day Fantasy Grounds!
I think I know the answer but I will ask it anyway. I am running a 5E 2024 D&D campaign and I bought a first edition adventure (Horror on the Hill) with the intent of updating it to 5E. When I go to import the adventure into the my campaign it does not show.
Is it not showing because it is 1st edition?

Yes, that's correct. Modules will only display for those systems for which they were made.
There is a free extension of the FG Forge which allows modules from any system to be opened in any other system. However, it comes with the caveat that any game system specific records, such as Items, NPCs, Spells, etc. will most likely throw errors if you try to open them. With the extension, you would be able to use the image data and the reference manual / story data primarily.

Thank you for the information. I will try the extension and see what it looks like.

Just a note since I also heavily use this extension: I would suggest making a separate campaign for which you use the extension, then open the adventure you want to use and make copies of the things you need :) (like the images/maps etc.) Since you probably will go over all the material, then do that in the separate campaign, and then export the data so that you can use it in the actual campaign without error :)
(in the past I once used the extension in my actual campaign, but then every time I created an NPC, I cannot see the new NPCs in the NPC list until I reload the campaign. So, there can be some bugs also in the functionality of FG itself, not just related to opening data of the corresponding module :) )
