This is my first time posting. My campaign data is not loading after the most recent update. I tried creating a new campaign using my backup data and got a lot of errors during the load. I am not very knowledgeable about about computers, software etc., so hopefully I've not completely wrecked the chance of restoring my campaign. Hopefully I've attached fgu_log correctly. Thanks for your help!

I'm not an expert on the errors being shown, but it looks like your vault got corrupted.
Exit your game session, in the top left corner of the Launcher is a FG Data Folder icon. Open that. Browse to the vault folder, delete everything in your vault. Run an update. Then try opening your campaign.

I suspect that the file that is the issue is the campaign.xml file. Try starting a new campaign and then close it down. Now copy the db.xml file from your problem campaign and past it into the folder for the campaign you just created (overwriting the existing db.xml file). Then start up the new campaign. If that works you might alos want to copy over the images folder and maybe also the moduledb folder as well.

Hi! Thanks for your help. I tried both of your suggestions with no luck. I am getting a new error message. I've attached the fgu_logs.

It's the same error as far as I can see. You might need to try loading an earlier session file until you get one that works.https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/1207304196/Restore+Campaign+to+an+Earlier+Save

I just want to report on something I found in case you might know the underlying cause. My moduledb folder seems to have been the problem. There where a lot of module saved in that folder but when I opened it after getting a previous session to load only two files remained. Also for some reason their was a extensionstate file from December 12, 2025 in my moduledb folder only after removing that file could I get my campaign data to load. Does this mean anything? Do I need to have modules in the moduledb folder to play? I've attached the new log but it looks the same to me.
Thanks for your help.

The moduledb folder is where the local campaign changes to a module are saved. So for instance if you load the module SCAG and open a page or item record and make changes to it, it will save that as a file in the moduledb folder. Lacking those files just means you are getting the default data from the module. extensionstate.xml is where the extensions that are set to be loaded with that campaign are tracked. Deleting that file just means that at the launch screen you will need to re-select the desired extensions before starting the campaign.

The extensionstste.xml file should not appear inside your moduledb folder. It must have, at some point, been accidentally moved into that folder. I'm not sure exactly what repercussions, if any, there would be with that file inside the moduledb but nevertheless it shouldn't be there.
