Hi

Dumb question i am sure but i have just started and am lost. I own some Mongoose Traveller books (pdf) as i have already bought i dont want to buy more here. I can not see anyway to add them to my fantasy grounds account. I have read and read but am still lost on how to do it.

Owning a PDF does not equate to owning the FG module.

Paizo is the only company I know of where owning the PDF from the Paizo Store gives you a discount on the FG Module.

I do know that with Traveller you have to buy the ruleset, you can see the details of what 1E and 2E include from the links here: Fantasy Grounds Store - VTT Ruleset modules (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/?sys=-1&pub=-1&typ=1&search=traveller&sort=1)

As well, the sub-forum that thread is in has lots more information on the system and is probably the best place to ask specific questions.

Entering game data into FG so you can use it at your fingertips in game is a time intensive process. Some content can take just hours, and more lengthy modules can take upwards of 200 hours of work or more depending on what is being converted.

So a PDF is not equivalent to a FG DLC module. They contain the same information, but the FG module has it all in a format that is easily accessed and used in game.

I recently bit the bullet and bought the ruleset and a few of the modules.

I'm loving the character creation but have yet to actually play it.

One of my Shadowdark players got me hooked by showing me Traveller on Tabletop Simulator. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to pay rent ;)
