I'd like to see a new tool (perhaps under Campaign) called "Containers". Containers would create named containers which players could drag and drop items to or from between the container and player character inventory. The drag and drop item mechanic is already available in the Party Sheet inventory.

This function would greatly enhance item management and role play. You cold give each player character a named chest to store items outside of their inventory. A container could be used as a sort of player home and filled with furniture items

There are a couple of extensions that attempt to do something like this, but they are limited to specific rulesets. It seems like a feature that could and should be added to the base game.

There is an extension that does that but I think it only works in 5E. Been a long time since I tried to use it.

It was basically a parcel you would assign a token to and you place the token on the map. Depending on the settings you chose, when the character clicks on the map token it wither pops up the parcel for the player to drag those items over, or offers you a choice to unlock or break it to open.

[MODERATOR] I've moved these posts to their own thread. They were originally posted in the Fantasy Grounds Forge Wishlist thread, which is specifically for functionality related to the Forge marketplace: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/

@moonracer20000 you can vote for existing FG feature requests, or add your own, here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featurerequests/featurerequests.php

Specifically, there are a handful of requests already you can vote on. You can find them by searching "container" with Trenloe's link, or this one should work Fantasy Grounds - Feature Requests (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featurerequests/featurerequests.php?category=All&status=All&titlesearch=container&btnSearch=Search)

You can more or less do that now by using the inventory in the Party Sheet. You can enter a name beside any item in the party sheet. Players and drag and drop items to and from the party sheet. The only downside is that the players can't put things into specific containers; only the DM can do that.
