View Full Version : PF1 Neutral Tokens not resized correctly

Hello,
System is Pathfinder 1e:
If I have a large creature with the Neutral Alignment (N), its token is not resized correctly on the map (e.g. Iron Golem), it only shows up as medium sized token (5ft by 5ft). If the alignment is changed to NE or anything else, resize of the token to large happens correctly. The program seems to be confused by the one letter alignment.

I just added a Dire Ape from the PFRPG Bestiary module that has the Type field of "N Large animal", and it is picking up the size/reach correctly as 10x10.
There was an issue with that, and I pushed a hot fix on June 6 (Saturday).
Have you run a new Check for Updates since then?
Do you have any extensions running?
Have you unzipped any rulesets on your machine in the FG data folder?

Thanks for the quick reply. I will try the update and report back.

I'm seeing a different issue related to this. If you put any characters before the alignment and size, then it doesn't size correctly.
Using the Dire Ape as an example. If the Type field has a value of "N Large animal" it sizes correctly.
But if the Type field has a value of "Fighter 4 N Large animal" it does not size correctly.
For further testing, if you add the additional text after, it works fine. I.E. "N Large animal Fighter 4"
Previously, the size was correctly identified if there was text before the standard Alignment, Size, Type text.
I used the Dire Ape as my example, as that is what was used above. Normally, when you see this, the text is written over two lines.
I.E.
Female lamia clerics of Lamashtu 8
CE Large monstrous humanoid
That example is from the Rise of the Runelords Chapter 4 Fortress of the Stone Giants FG Module. The creature in the example is Seleval/Zaelsar

That's correct. Size must be the first or second item in the Type field; that's the way that it has worked in PF1 for a while (as far as the code I saw).

Sorry Moon but I am going to have to respectfully, disagree with you on that statement. Previously (v5.1.8 and earlier) you could have text before the size field.
Here are some examples from a 5.1.8 version of FG that I have running.
Here is the info of the version and the Modules used for this test.

Just pushed an update to remove that limiter. Not sure if it will have knock-on effects, due to parsing entire field.

Thank you. That resolved the issue. I'll let you know if I see any other knock-on effects.
