View Full Version : my players can’t see the groups

Hello friends, I have a minor problem with my dystopian fantasy cyberpunk campaign. I created groups for the campaign, races, items, guns, and so on, but my players can’t see the groups. If I move the stuff into “Uncategorized,” they can see it there. What did I do wrong?

Players don't see groups. If you share things with players they'll simple see everything in the one list. If you want your players to see groups then export what you want them to see into a players module and when they open that module everything will be in the groups that you set up.

Thank you for your help! I have to confess that I’m not really sure how the module/player module system works. I only know about the modules I load and the ones I allow my players to load — for example, the Player’s Handbook for them and the GM module for myself.

Could you maybe explain in a little more detail how it works? Sorry to bother you with this.

Note, its best if you create these player facing content in a campaign different than your play campaign. Most of us call this a development campaign. It makes exporting and updating the content simpler if it is not in the "play" campaign. See the Best Practices link in my signature for more details.
