Hey folks, for some reason I can no longer add any effects in FG. Whenever I add an effect to a character on the combat tracker, the error:
[ERROR] Script execution error: [string "5e EndofNextTurn:scripts/nextturn.lua"]:76: attempt to call global 'oldonEffectTextDecode' (a nil value)
pops up in the logs. I'm including the log with this, so, hopefully it's an easy fix.

You are running an extension that is no longer working. It looks like it has something to do with "5e EndofNextTurn".
As for any time you get errors, first try disabling any extensions, and try again.

I think it's Better Combat, which meant that the errors stopped after I disabled it. But, the LUA error persists. Is there a way to reload my base (sorry, not sure what to call it) Fantasy Grounds?

Extensions modify the base FG code. So, if you want to vanilla, standard FG code, don't load any extensions.

Sorry, but is there a way to reload my FG - a sort of restore to factory defaults?
I understand that extensions may modify the code. What I want to do is delete that code and then reload it. But, since I have no idea where or what a "lua" is, I don't know where to begin.

To reset FG data delete the following directories:
1) <FG App Data>\modules
2) <FG App Data>\rulesets
3) <FG App Data>\extensions
4) <FG App Data>\vault
And then run an update.
Get to <FG App Data> by clicking the folder button in the top left of the FG startup screen.
This will remove all rulesets, extensions and modules and then re-download them from the FG update servers. If you manually installed anything (copied files to these directories) you'll need to do that again after running the update.
DO NOT delete the <FG App Data> directory itself, otherwise you will also delete any FG campaigns you have on your computer. You may want to make a backup of <FG App Data> before you do this. Just in case you accidentally delete something you didn't want to delete.

Thanks. I think I finally bludgeoned my poor brain into figuring things out. I wound up turning off all my extensions, which fixed the error. I then walked back and turned on the extensions and kept track of which ones I loaded each time to track down the culprit.
Which is what you were trying to tell me before. :p Thanks for the help.
