It appears that an Aura effect dropped into the CT will not apply the effect to anything in range. Only by moving a token after it is placed will the effect be applied. There is supposed to be a trigger in aura that goes off when something is added or removed in the CT that is an effect with an aura. That is not happening.

Simple effect you can place on a token with another token in range...

TEST; AURA: 15 all; AoE TEST; TEST

When you drop it nothing in range will get the AoE TEST; TEST applied to it. But if you move one of the tokens then it will get applied. AURA extension should be processing any add/remove/change of an effect (after keyin is completed) with an AURA defined in that effect. But its not.

I'm informed this was how it worked before because at some point they removed the ability to drop it in and have it apply. Back when things were very slow. So I guess, while I'd want Moon Wizard to do it because - its not me, that I probably have to look into it myself if I want this done. I'm not sure why this would be a slow operation these days - so I might look into it myself. Unless MW wants to of course!

Ha.

I think because before it was checking at other times than just movement.
However, I think just adding back a check when an effect is applied would be fine.
But you also don't want to check every time any effect is applied that would slow things down a bit on turn changes.
