Hello everyone! New DM and FG user here. Not sure if this is the right forum for this.

All of my friends are non-english speakers, and their knowledge of the language is very limited. So i try my best to include everyone by translating all the spells and items on their sheet myself. This is actually much easier on FG than on Roll20, since i can just create and then save a translated version of any spell, and then drag and drop onto another character sheet, in case they have the same spell and stuff. While on Roll20 i had to manually type in every single thing on their sheet, everytime.

There's one big problem though, any entries i've saved doesn't seem to carry over to a different campaign. Is there any way to keep my custom spells and such saved across multiple campagins? Am i missing a much easier way to do any of this? Even if i create another campaign from scratch for another group of friends, still using the same 5e rule set, do i have to manually create and save everything again?

I've attached a screenshot as an example, they're all your basic 5e spells, but translated to Portuguese so my friends can understand.

I'd love to know any kind of shortcut to help setting up games for my players faster and easier. Thanks everyone in advance!

Welcome to the FG forums. You can export data records from a campaign into a module, then load that module in other campaigns. Details here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996640899/Using+and+Activating+Modules#Module-Export

Also be aware, some automation is based upon English words. So you may want to consider keeping the English and adding your translated spell descriptions after. I know some of the automation is basedupon the text within the spells, but its also possible some is done based upon the English spell name. I know that is true of some feats, not sure about spells.
