Many of us can only purchase Fantasy Grounds modules and related content through Steam. This is mainly due to two factors: access to local payment methods and, even more importantly, regional pricing.
While I understand that Steam takes a percentage of each sale, it also enables access to markets that might otherwise generate little to no revenue. Regional pricing makes a significant difference in affordability depending on the country.
To give a concrete example, here in Brazil the monthly Art Subscription costs more than half a day of work at minimum wage. In contrast, in the United States, the same subscription represents roughly half an hour of minimum wage work. That difference makes the subscription effectively inaccessible for many users in regions like ours.
Steam has supported monthly and yearly subscriptions for some time now. Would it be possible to offer the Art Subscription through Steam as well? This would allow users who depend on regional pricing and local payment options to access the service, and could potentially expand your customer base in regions that are currently underserved.
If I am not mistaken this falls under SmiteWorks. I’d really appreciate you considering bringing the Art Subscription to Steam to make it accessible to a wider global audience.
