Roleplay & Combat mix: Depends on how much you attack, Shadowdark is deadly . . . Run away!
Number of Players in game & needed: I've got a couple of buddies willing to commit now. Want to convince family to join us.
Character starting level & equipment: Starting level 1. Standard Shadowdark characters (like from shadowdarklings.net) just fine.
Character restrictions: You will be locals from the town of Byrny.
Details of your scenario: This is a fantasy adventure set at the edge of civilization, in a world where ancient ruins outnumber living cities and the wilderness presses in from every side. You are not destined heroes at the start. You are people with lives, loyalties, scars, and unfinished business, caught in events far larger than yourselves. At first, the story is local: a town, a road, a festival, a problem that won’t stay contained. But over time, the campaign can widen—into strange courts, broken myths, and otherworldly realms where emotion, memory, and belief shape reality. Eventually, the world itself will change
